Get details at Stop and Shop.com. Gasper, how are you doing, kid? I'm doing well. How are you guys? What's up, Chris? What's going on? Just, you know, doing our thing here. Talk to me about the Patriots. You want to start with the cornerbacks and the situation with Malcolm Butler and Stefan Gilmore? Yeah, I do because when you went back to training camp, and I remember Malcolm Butler saying this, that there were a lot of people who felt like this had a chance to be the best cornerback tandem in the NFL. And I know we're only two weeks into the season, but they're not even close. I mean, I look at Gilmore, and in each game, I can look at plays where I question his effort.

0:55.2

Effort?

0:56.1

Yes, effort.

0:58.9

Did you see the Brandon Coleman reception?

1:01.5

So the rub-rought where he got down and sort of stayed down?

1:01.9

Yes.

1:07.0

I mean, there was not really a lot of alacrity there to get back up and get back in the play.

1:07.7

And that word means?

1:08.8

Urgency.

1:09.8

Thank you, Mass.

1:11.4

Yeah, no, I guessed, actually.

1:13.0

But I'm assuming that's what you meant.

1:13.4

Go ahead.

1:27.9

There wasn't a lot of vigor there to get back up and get back in the play. And then, you know, obviously there was a miscommunication on the Tyree kill touchdown in the opener, but I didn't, you know, that guy's fast and he put up the deuses, but I didn't really see Gilmore turn it on to at least give it a shot.

1:30.6

So when you look at that, and then the other thing is,

2:17.5

do you bring Gilmore turn it on to at least give it a shot. So when you look at that, and then the other thing is, so you bring Gilmore in, right? How is he before you move forward? How was Gilmore on run force and that sort of thing? You know, I'm not Bardard, so I haven't paid as close attention to that. I would say sort of what Volan said. I mean, Logan Ryan was very good at that. But, you know, Logan Ryan played a little safety in college. Gilmore's a big guy and a physical guy. I mean, I don't think he's afraid to stick his nose in there. He might not be as good a form tackler as Logan Ryan was, but I don't think that's really an issue. So I looked it up earlier in the week on pro football focus, and I think Butler's run grades were actually better than Gilmores. Yeah, they should be. Which surprises me though. Shouldn't it be the opposite? Well, because Gilmore's bigger, but Butler's a aggressive. He's an animal. Aggressive tough player. But Gilmore should be. A guy like him should be a good all-around physical corner. Or is he one of these corners who like, you know, Derell Revis, Tye Law, you know, I'll tackle, Dionne Sanders, I'll tackle on my own time.

2:19.9

You don't pay me to tackle.

2:32.4

You pay me to cover. Yeah. You might be, well, you might be more interested in the coverage aspect of it. That's, you know, that's obviously not ideal. But honestly, I'm more interested in the coverage aspect of it. If I'm paying a guy $15 million a year,

2:34.1

I want him to lock guys down.

2:35.2

I want him to get... I want him not to get knocked down on a pick play,

2:37.1

but if he does, to lock guys down. I want him to get,
