How's that for talking to talk and then walking the walk?

Tom Brady talks about attitude and competitiveness and basically does call out the team

after that Thursday night game against Kansas City. He shows up in New Orleans yesterday and has the

best first quarter of his career. He's amazing. 177 yards, three touchdowns. First time he's

thrown three touchdowns in the first quarter. He was five for five on his first third,

five, the first five third down throws five for five with two touchdowns.

First two touchdowns, I think, or two of the three touchdowns were on third down.

So Brady leading that sort of response and that answer.

I think just off the top, number one issue, real healthy.

You still see investment on that roster.

And I don't know if you doubted it after week one, but I don't know, it's still nice to

see whether you thought it was going to be there or not.

If you thought it was a given, they would bounce back.

Then I guess that doesn't mean anything to you, but, you know, there are no givens.

And there have been Patriots teams that have not responded.

And so this one did, resoundingly.
