For some reason, this is a massive story, but it was pretty funny to me because of the internet wanted to react.

And so, Rich, there was a banner unfurled over the Green Monster yesterday.

Yeah, so I think it was in the fourth inning, this banner from three people who are in the front row of the monster seats.

And as I was saying earlier, it was a young girl who looked very proud of what she was doing.

Another girl who looked like she didn't want to be there in a guy who apparently just wanted to get laid, who's hanging out with these two girls.

So they unfurled this massive banner. It's massive. And on it it said,

racism is as American as baseball. Now, the first question that I was thinking when I was watching this is how the hell do you get this thing in there? And now, from an inside source, I have heard

that somehow a beach bag was able to get into Fenway Park, and that's what they brought it in with, with a beach bag. How does that happen? It's not good. It's not good at all. How do you get that in there? I thought they, you know, I was thinking, oh, maybe it was a clever way. They brought it in piece by piece, and there was a way that they, like, taped it to the inside of their leg.

No, we're just going to take the entire damn banner, roll it up and toss at a beach bag. A seven to ten foot banner to drape over the wall. Right. Yeah. But another thing I was thinking is, okay, whatever organization they're with, they're making a lot of cash. How the hell do you get those seats?

I mean, that's pretty damn good seats

this is such a big story. I have no idea it was such a big story. But there was a moment

where people didn't know how to react. Well, me being one of them. But Deadspin, you go to the comments and it says, I don't even know what the message is here. Is it that racism is the A-OK? Is it that racism is pervasive with an American culture? Is it Boston fans suck? I guess we'll never know. So I doubt it's the former as modern-day racist mostly claim they're not racist and or the real problem is reverse racism.

But from the photo, it does appear that it was three white folk holding the sign.

It's a poor attempt at a critique if it's the latter, though.
