Get Into the Mix. Here are your Washington headlines for the day. Number one, problems on government

funding and the debt limit. Number two, the White House leans in on Biden's agenda. And number three,

a big Republican ad campaign on Biden's build back better agenda.

Let's get into the mix.

We are eight days from the government shutting down and about a month, give or take,

until the debt ceiling hits.

And the White House and congressional leaders need to figure out where they are on this,

on funding the government.

So last night, the House passed a bill to increase the debt limit until 2022, suspend the debt limit. That means they

don't actually have to vote for a number. They just vote to suspend the debt limit until after

the 2022 elections. And on government funding, they funded the government until December until they can get a full

year spending bill in place.

Now, I don't think there's going to be a shutdown.

I'm not confident about it, but I don't think that there is for a few reasons.

Number one, Democrats could just drop the debt limit. I mean, the Senate's not
