I look at the abysmal record of Joseph Biden, the current president.

Oh, it's just holding my breath there.

So, listen, I wanted to talk to you.

You and I, you and I end up saying a lot of the same things, it seems.

I consider you one of the last sane writers in some ways. Because

every time I think I'm going crazy, especially on subjects of, well, especially on foreign policy,

I read your takes and they reassure me that at least one other person is worried about some of the same things that I am worried about.

What do you think it is? How would you describe the common worry that has been expressed by yourself and myself over the course of the last few months in our

writing. Yeah, well, let me first say that I also very much appreciate your writing and I feel

the same way about yours. I think there is a really dangerous and alarming lack of debate and

discussion about what is going on vis-a-vis,

not just the US's policy towards the war in Ukraine, but also, you know, all the tensions

with China.
