Hi, welcome to episode 15 of art juice behind the scenes conversations about

making art and the creative life with me Louise Fletcher and me Alice

Sheridan. We have lots of good stuff for you this week.

As always, we're going to talk about finding your own way to market and sell you work.

We have a great question about getting creative when you have limited time.

But first of all, we're going to do our usual, what are you working on this week segment?

So I'm going to ask Alice first, what are you working on this week?

Because I'm quite boring this week. Okay, well it's been a bit of a weird week

because it's been, Easter's come very late, so we had Easter which threw all my days out and we had lovely sunny

weather so it suddenly felt like summer rather than spring which also threw me entirely.

So it's been a weird week of settling back down again, but I have been involved in two different online challenges and they've been about as opposite and different as you could possibly get.

So one was for new people about building your presence through Facebook

and it made me feel a bit icky what they were suggesting to do and I was

following it because I was kind of going okay I'm gonna see where this goes

I'm not gonna judge too early I'm going to I'm going to follow this but it

was a it was a 10 day thing and I followed it as far as day seven and then I

haven't listened so there might be some magic outcome in the last part, but I have to say the bit about the beginning didn't really get me. So that was one thing. I'm obviously not going to tell you what it was. I think the way that the lady running it knows entirely what she's talking about. And I think that this could be a strategy that could work. I'm not saying it doesn't work. I'm just saying that for me it didn't sit right.

The other thing is about as far opposite as you can get and it's somebody who I've worked with in the past and I've seen her business change and I have been involved with her and I had some one-to-one sessions with her and then moved away from a recent thing that she'd done.

And I saw that she had a challenge going on that was more about accessing your intuition.

And that felt much more aligned with the place I'm at now so I thought right fine I'm going to do this and it's been a full on hour every single day live which you can watch and I have been there live every day which I usually never do for these things and that has felt completely different and it's something that I know that I personally have
