0:30.1	We began this conversation around self-mastery with one critical proposition that until you gain
0:44.4	self-mastery, everything else in your life will always seem a bit out of control. You'll never
0:50.2	step into the full capacity, the full potential that you were created to live at, that there's an
0:56.8	aspect to who we are that cannot be produced by anyone else that has to actually be the product
1:03.6	of our own choices. And sometimes this becomes a little confusing because when you're a person of
1:08.7	faith, when you put your trust in Jesus, a huge part of the language that we have is we just
1:13.7	need to let Jesus do it, and you just need to trust God to make it happen. And so what happens
1:18.8	so oftentimes is that our journey of faith causes us to abdicate those areas in our life where we
1:26.4	have to take mastery over ourselves. And so we focus together, beginning with the concept of
1:32.7	ownership, that until you take ownership for your life, you will not have the power to bring the
1:38.8	chains that your life so desperately needs, that you so desperately want to bring to your own life,
1:43.5	to your own future, to your own personhood. And yes, there is this powerful interplay between
1:50.6	you and God, that there are things in your life that you cannot do for yourself, that only God can do
1:55.5	for you. But there are things in your life that you must do for yourself, and God will never take
2:00.9	them out of your hands. He will give you the power, he will give you the strength, he will be with
2:05.9	you in his presence, but he will not do it for you. He's going to empower you and hold you responsible
2:13.2	to make those choices. Ownership is at the center of resilience. But we also saw how not only is
2:21.9	ownership critical to self mastery, but so is mindset, and that the filter through which we process
2:28.8	thoughts, the way that we deal with the the battle of our inner world, the way we're able to take
