Let's talk a little bit about self-love.

You know, self-love is very important.

You know, we need it.

We need to nourish ourselves.

We got to love ourselves, even though some seasons we don't, but that's okay.

But, you know, self-love is not a single act.

It's a choice.

It's a choice to build a home, a foundation for ourselves that we can stand on built with love and care,

but it takes time though, it takes effort. Looking in the mirror today and telling yourself,

I see you, I love you, it may create a dopamine effect that feels good in the morning,

but by lunch, you know, your inner credit could be screaming

again. You see, love is built, not just found. It's a consistent effort that compounds over time.

When a construction company decides to build a home on day one, they do not have a home. They have

just prepared the soil. Maybe like a month

later, they have laid some cement, but they still do not have a home. No home in sight.

At some point, they start to put the pillars up, the walls up, but still no home, but it's being built.

Same goes for your love, your self-love.

It takes time, time and energy to craft our aura.

An energy that can be felt as soon as we step into the room,

you know, to raise our heart posture, especially after a tough season, a breakup,

maybe a death, a tragedy, suffering, pain. We may be full of love one season. Think we fly to

main character, look in the mirror, we like, ooh, and then deconstruction begins.
