One of the big storylines in the auto industry over the last week, if not longer, has been the threat of tariffs at the Trump administration has leveled at China and the ensuing potential fallout throughout the industry, both traditional and

the emerging tech and mobility areas.

Joining me to talk about that today is Michael Dunn, founder and CEO of Zozo Go, a firm that

advises tech companies on how to enter and compete in the Chinese market. But first today we'll be joined by

Allison Malik, Chief Operating Officer of May Mobility, a Michigan company that's been

deploying self-driving shuttles throughout the country and including a upcoming deployment in

Rhode Island that begins tomorrow. Welcome Allison. Thank you so much, Pete, it's

great to be here today. For those who don't know much about May Mobility,

tell us a little bit about the company

and what you've been up to over the past year.

So May Mobility is focused on helping

to improve transportation for people, especially in urban situations and things like that.

So for the past year, we've really been focusing on our first product, which is our shuttle

vehicle, and helping to solve first mile last mile

transportation challenges. And one of the noteworthy things about May

mobility is that you were the first automated vehicle

here, and I believe you were the first to set up commercial operations.

That's correct.

So we wear that as a badge of honor to be the first automated vehicle that operated in downtown Detroit.

We started our service with Bedrock in downtown Detroit last June and we're coming up on a year
