Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

The winds are darkening, the skies are getting heavier and heavier.

It looks very, very bad out there.

Snowmageddon is what they're calling it.

I'm looking at TV screens in which young people are sledging around in the snow. As much as four or five inches of it, you know,

in parts of the country. We have closed down airports. We have shut down roads. We have made it

impossible for people to get to work, all because of a little little bit of snow, which I have

to say, it's absolutely and utterly ridiculous, isn it if we're not careful we might have yet another couple of centimeters of snow this afternoon we'll keep you

updated with that and we've got people out there keeping an eye on all sorts of

things coming from the skies and falling onto the ground what is it with this country

where we can't seem to manage to run anything at all when we get a little bit of

difficult weather if we get a bit of rain difficult weather. If we get a bit of rain, it starts flooding.

If we get a bit of snow, we have to shut all the roads.

And really, we need to get a grip of this, don't we?
