Summary

This week's meditation looks at revival, both personal and in the Church as a whole. We are in the Lenten Season of the Church, a season set apart for the purpose of returning to God and paying attention to Divine Presence in our lives.

Lent is a journey of grace, allowing us to follow the way of Jesus. We are invited to personally bear witness to Christ's miraculous life of love and transforming presence in our lives. Revival and spiritual renewal is necessary in every generation. And so we return, once again, to the cross. Revive us, Oh Lord.

0:47.8	This week, I had the sacred privilege of taking a spiritual pilgrimage to Asbury University in Kentucky, where revival

1:00.7	Something in my spirit knew I needed to witness and experience this spiritual awakening.
1:10.5	The revival I witnessed was pure, authentic, inspiring, powerful, yet peaceful.
1:21.4	Just ordinary people of all ages, cultures, backgrounds, and denominations
1:29.1	who were hungry and thirsty for more of God.
1:35.4	People pressing in a little closer,
1:39.8	curious, seeking, and wanting to know Jesus.
1:48.0	Thank you. seeking and wanting to know Jesus. One of the university pastors reminded us,
1:51.0	revival is not about a specific place or auditorium.
1:58.0	Revival can happen anywhere when we are willing to be changed and
2:04.1	transformed by the Spirit of God in us. Lent is a journey of grace allowing us to
2:14.9	follow the way of Jesus.

2:37.0	The Spirit of God is always moving, but we aren't always paying attention.
