Good morning everyone. Welcome to another episode of the messy masterpiece

podcast with Chad and Tori. We're super excited to spend this Friday with you or

any other day you watch or listen to this. I feel like we just need to quit saying that because people

listen to so many different days. You know what I mean? I am anyways I think Tori's

got a fun devotional for us today and we'll we'll jump right into it so you can get ready for your weekend.

Yes you guys I think this is going to be a great one. We are reading out of John 718 and the

devotional is titled Pursue Truth. It says those who speak for themselves

want glory only for themselves but a person who seeks to honor the one who sent him speaks truth, not lies.

The love letter from God says, Beloved child, glorify me by speaking the truth.

Human opinion can't help you walk in my wisdom and live the life I destined you to experience.

Be careful to guard your heart and mind

and to seek me above all others, so you don't lose your way.

Don't underestimate the power of my sovereign word.

Don't put more value on what I created than on me.

Whenever others speak, really listen to what they're saying. If their words draw you closer to them and away from me,

then they're not from me. My words will always point others to me and will not glorify a person.

Stay in my word and you will be able to discern the difference.
