John 14, we've been on this for some weeks now.

We call the series Seeing Jesus.

I trust it's blessing you.

It's sure helping me.

And I've learned some things.

I'm growing.

I see him better now than when we started.

And to me, that's no small thing.

That's about as big as it gets.

It's seeing him and knowing him and walking with him.

In John 14, 21, our text says this.

Jesus said, He that has my commandments and keeps them.

Sounds a lot like willing and obedient, don't he?

He it is that loves me.

Who really loves him?

Not just the folks that say they love him, but to people that do what he said, that do what he said.

He it is that loves me, and he that loves me shall be loved of my father,

and I will love him and will manifest myself to him.

Later on, we see that Jesus submits to going to the cross.

You know, after the flesh, his humanity, he recoiled from it.

And he said, Father, if there's any way, let this cut pass from it.

But he always would come back to this immediately and say, nevertheless,
