I'm your host, retired NYPD, Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

A lot of things going on now in the Brown University shootings, mostly not to do with the perpetrator nor the shooting

but of internal politics and what I call it is the blame game who is going to get blamed

for these nine students shot two students shot dead who's going to get blamed for these nine students shot, two students shot dead?

Who's going to get blamed?

And it's already begun.

It's not, they're not blaming him, the shooter.

They got to find someone who works at the university.

And right now, here we have, the college chief of police,

Rodney Chapman, has been put on leave. Don't know that much about the man where I can

defend him or criticize him. However, he did have in the last few years his employees come out against him

in a no-confidence vote, vote apparently twice. And judging by a lot of the security errors on the

Brown University campus, you can't defend it. But, but is he really at fault?

How about this woman we see here?

The college president, Christina Paxson, $3.1 million a year of college president.

Who sets the tone at a university? What is the culture for security?

Is security that they have the posture at Brown, as they do at many Ivy League schools?

Security should be seen and not heard and not be proactive, just be like scarecrow's standing around?

Because as we find out more things about the errors and about the misgivings

and about the ineptitude of this investigation as well as security,

let's not forget, security is to protect assets and reduce risks.
