Hey everyone, welcome to the Scripture Study Project.

Our podcast dedicated to helping you discover the scriptures in a fresh way, invest your mind and heart into your personal study, and connect to God in your everyday life.

We are your hosts, Krista and Zach Horton. This week we're

studying Section 45, one of my favorites in the Doctrine and Covenants, and we're really excited

for what we get to study this week. But first up, we alluded to our updated website in last week's episode and wanted to just give you a quick idea of

what we have there. We've refreshed everything on the website, which is scripture study project.com,

but most importantly, we finally got up our Doctrine and Covenant study record.

Now we realize that it is almost May as we enter into this study.

It was a four-month pause for dramatic effect.

That's right.

But we feel like, and I actually like the study record for that reason, is that it's not, doesn't really

need to be done as you go. It's really more of a, well, it's learning and feeling and doing and

becoming in the scriptures. And we're really excited about this one as it kind of helps give you

a history of certain sections of

the doctrine and covenants or we've sectioned them into, I keep wanting to say chunks,

but that's not the right word. Why don't you say the word that would be right for that?

Groups. Groups. You guys know why we have to do this podcast together because I can't talk without Zach.

I realize I've said that in the last few episodes where, Zach, what's the word for that?

Anyway, but this year, as with the, if you purchased or if you know a little bit about the study record that we did for the Book of Mormon,

it's very similar, set up in a similar way,

asking questions about the way that we study,

ask questions to learn what God wants for you,
