So today, I'm joined with Christopher Zook. How you know today, Christopher?

Excellent. Thank you for having me.

Good. Well, we brought Christopher on the show because there are a lot of cool things that he does.

And I know listeners of the show love learning about alternative investments.

And Christopher's got an interesting one.

Some people may not have heard of, which makes it even more interesting.

So Christopher, tell us a little bit about your background.

Lifelong, Estonian, grew up here, been in Texas my entire life, been in the investment

business for about 32, 33 years now, started this firm in 2001 with the backing of several of the

large families in the state. And we get to do very unique things and invest anywhere, anytime, and anything.

So how do you get started in the investment business?

Always been interested in the investment world since really high school, but particularly in college.

I helped put myself through college by trading commodities and futures in order to be able to

help pay for my tuition and my expenses.

So one of the ways that I did that.

So always interested in the investment side of the world,

always interested in the alternative world,

because while certainly invested in traditional stocks and bonds over the years

have done a tremendous amount of alternatives
