series. This is called the Secrets to Success series and I just want to share a couple of

things that I've learned over time that have really contributed to a lot of the success I've

been able to have in business and podcasting, etc. So the first thing and I say this all the time,

I believe that self-awareness is a secret to success. And self-awareness shows up in so many

different ways. It shows up in who you need to hire with your team and business because you need

to know what your gap areas are as the executive and your company so that you're making strategic

hires for people that are able to fill your gap areas because when you're a company you guys

move on one accord, right? Like one band, one sound. So you shouldn't have a bunch of people who think

alike have the same skill, says do everything the same way on your team. You should be able to build

your team to where people are able to balance each other's out. So whatever your weakness is,

you have someone who feels that gap where they may be weakened, you have someone who feels that

gap, you have someone who has a different perspective and background and life view or whatever

is you who brings that diversity of thought to the team. So just even as you're planning out

building your company as the executive, self-awareness is extremely important.

Self-awareness even comes into play when it comes to simple things like scheduling out your day.

Those of you guys who watch this, I'm sure you wear many hats, you know, you may be a wife, a mom,

have this business, you work full time, you may be a student in school trying to balance

life with your ambitions, you're doing a lot. And so even when it comes down to scheduling,
