What's your secret? Welcome back to another week of Beyond the Secret. My name is Ace Fanning and this week's story is intense to say the least.

And I don't want to take up a bunch of your time,

but I want to quickly just

first let you know that I hope you're all doing okay and hanging in there. I think that we

all handle stress differently and we all have our own coping mechanisms and I just hope that all of you are taking care of yourselves and doing whatever it is you need to do to get through this time in the best way possible for you.

And so that being said, if you are in a fragile place right now, this story has a lot of emotions and maybe right now it's not the right fit for you, but it will still be here when the world goes back to normal.

But if you are in a place to hear it, it is a story that I really want people

to hear and I am just so grateful to be the platform that this woman has chosen to share it on. This week's secret, the, no. Okay, so how old were you when all of this started and what kind of person were you at that time?

I was a 16 year old girl. I was a junior in high school. I am an extreme extrovert. I live off with people's energy. I have a

super vibrant personality. I would say like I'm a lot to handle. I'm just like your average 16 year old girl who's like,

all right, what are we doing Friday night? Like where are we going? Who are we hanging out with?

Kind of deal. And how did you meet this person originally?

So I play volleyball and so it was after one of my high school volleyball games in a way school.

He approached me after a volleyball game and it was a really weird situation.

We are standing in a huddle as a team and he was standing very awkwardly close and I didn't think

anything of it. I didn't know who he was. I just thought, oh, maybe it's a girl on the team's family or something.

And then afterwards I walked away to go take off my gear and he came up to me and introduced himself in first and last name and he asked me if anyone had told me that I was extremely beautiful that day and I was called off guard and I was like what like

no like I mean what do you say not and say it was just I was so caught off guard and so then he asked me if I would go to the gym with him and I told him no sorry I don't live over here and I don't go to the gym with males that I don't know and he just continued to talk and I was trying to

find ways to get out of the conversation. He asked me for my phone number and this

is probably my number one regret was I foolishly gave it to him and I just walked away so I thought okay

quick easy I can get out here I'll block him then he followed me into the stands and another

player told him to leave me alone that he has no right to be following me.
