Now, here's an excerpt where Dr. Denison discusses how he chooses a topic for each daily article.

And so what does it look like for you to decide this is the topic God's asking me to speak on today

and then tomorrow to do it again and the next day after that? How do you find yourself picking those topics? It really comes in one of three ways. There are times that in my own personal Bible study, my own time with God and just my experience with him, I have a sense. This is something God wants me to speak into. And so I've started with the answer, then I go find the question. I'm looking for something in the context, in the culture, in the news, that lets me bridge over to the point that I'm really trying to make. Most of the time, I'm looking through culture, asking, all right, what's out there that people are interested in? What is it that's really drawing conversation? I pay a lot of attention to Google trends, so I see what's trending in social media, and I have the ability to use some analytics to get a sense of really what's really driving the conversation there.

So I look at all of that to see what's of the interest to people, because that reflects culture.

But then that brings to a third point.

Is there something biblical I can say about that issue?

If I don't have a biblical point to make, it's not

missional for me. I might have a personal opinion. There may be something I would love to say to you

just as a friend to a friend, but if it's not something I can bring a biblical message to, I don't
