There are times that in my own personal Bible study, my own time with God and just my experience with him, I have a sense. This is something God wants me to speak into. And so I've started with the answer, then I go find the question. I'm looking for something in the context, in the culture, in the news, that lets me bridge over to the point that I'm really trying to make. Most of the time, I'm looking through culture, asking, all right, what's out there that people are interested in? What is it that's really drawing conversation? I pay a lot of attention to Google trends, so I see what's trending in social media, and I have the ability to use some analytics to get a sense of really what's really driving the conversation there. |
