So I thought Donald Trump was going to take a breather this week.

Instead, he took everyone else's breath away with a tossed-off comment at a rally in North

Carolina that suggested that assassinating Hillary Clinton might be the only way to stop

her from appointing justices to the Supreme Court and abolishing the Second Amendment.

Oh, and by the way, Donald, presidents don't get to abolish parts of the Constitution,

just in case that ever comes up.

Trump's words were a little ambiguous, but shooting his opponent was pretty clearly what

he meant and what the people at the rally understood.

If you watch the video, there's a guy in a red shirt sitting right in back of him whose

jaw just falls open when Trump makes his suggestion about Second Amendment people.

He's shocked by the comment.
