So about a week and a half ago over on ESPN.com, Bill Connolly puts up this lengthy feature on why he's opposed to a 2014 college football playoff.

And I never mentioned it on the show.

A lot of you asked if you were going to talk about it anyway, why didn't you mention this Bill Connolly feature?

Well, it's because I knew something you didn't know.

And that was,

I had invited Bill to Nashville to appear on this very show to discuss it at length. And so tonight,

for the better part of an hour on the back end of the show, it will be me and Bill Connolly. We're

recorded it Wednesday. And we're going to go very, very deep dive on that, very, very deep dive on some other stuff, some early thoughts on the 2026 season. We could have gone nine hours. I think, what did we go, Jesse? Like 45 minutes or so. It's really, really good stuff. So I'm excited about that. We're jam-packed. We're high top of sunny downtown Nashville, Tennessee. On this Thursday, May 28th, the Year of Our Lord, 2026, you know there's a lot of talk this time of year. It's not the worst thing in the world. Okay, silence is worse. So there's talking from the SEC spring meetings. A lot of people are complaining. That's what coaches do. Coach is coach in the fall. They complain in the

spring. And I am here to basically parse through what's legitimate and what's not. The Senate bill,

honestly, I almost want to take more time to digest it. And so you may think we're going to lead

the show with that tonight. We're really not. We're really not.

I'll have a lot to say on it.
