It is also today, SEC Day on the Audible, and we're going to be joined here in a little bit

by our great Alabama writer, Kenny Smith, to talk Alabama and SEC. Alabama, a team I am

a little bit down on, a lot down on, I guess, compared to their recent history. But first, Bruce,

we've had some quarterback announcements this week.

And one really stands out in particular.

You and I worked on a story for the athletic in February about Jaden Rashada, the recruit from California, who first was committed to Miami and was rumored to get a huge NIL deal, then signed with Florida.

Then it turned out he had a $13.8 million NIL contract that went kaput.

And so he ends up to Arizona State, where his dad played.

And we thought, okay, you know, he could be under the radar a little bit.

He won't be in the spotlight for a little while.

He can take some time to develop.

Well, guess what? Jane Rashada has one Arizona State's starting quarterback job for week one. I think that's a pretty cool kind of redemption story there. Yeah, I mean, I think it's great

that he's got an opportunity. I mean, Drew Pine was dealing with, I think, a hamstring injury,

right? I was slowed by that. It'll be interesting to see how he goes because we,

you know, we've talked a bunch in the last month and even a couple days ago on the last episode

of the podcast about how loaded the PAC 12 is with quarterbacks and mostly proven quarterbacks.

And I think the one young quarterback that I think everybody's been kind of keeping an eye on is

Dante Moore, who is a much higher regarded recruit in the 20203 class, who's now at UCLA.
