Now, if you watch this show, you guys know I think conferences having multiple automatic

qualifiers for the college football playoff is stupid. But if it has to happen, the idea of having play-in games at the end,

I think it's the best way to go about it and pretty much the lesser of two evils.

Now, if you haven't heard, there's some talk that the SEC is thinking about having a championship

slash play-in week at the end of the year, where the top two teams would play in the conference championship game

and the teams that finish three through six would each play one game to see who gets the other

two automatic qualifying spots because remember they said they're looking at four automatic

qualifiers for the SEC and Big Ten. So let me give you an example because if you're visual

learners like me, this is going to help.

Last year's playing games would have been the three-seed Tennessee versus the six-seed South Carolina and the four-seat Alabama versus the five-seat LSU.

Now, those games would have been electric.

And most importantly, it does take the decision out of the committee's hands because the winners of

those games would advance to the college football playoff. Now, as much as I hate, once again,

the multiple automatic qualifiers, I would watch the hell out of those games. And let's be
