Greetings, spooky lovelies, special guests, beloved friends, and dearest enemies.

We have received recently more inquiries than ever regarding the opening of the reading

room for forthcoming readings for you, our much enchanted enthusiasts, and we thank you.

Some of these inquiries were most kindly worded and respectful for which we also thank you.

Like most who calculate their actions, we have a method to our madness here in the Midnight

Library, a pattern which some of the keynest amongst you has undoubtedly spotted.

We hold for your enjoyment two seasons of highly crafted readings each year,

one season beginning in the spring, and one beginning in the fall.

There is a brief pause between each season during which we, being myself and an inner circle of

co-conspirators, meet to conspire, and conduct in-depth research, write, edit, oh,

and fiercely commit many sacrifices. Just before we consecrate the reading room,

in preparation for its reopening to host your divine and welcome company, we love you.

I'm pleased to tell you that in anticipation of our upcoming season eight,

that we are having new deep maroon carpeting installed in the reading room,

for no obvious reason, so just maybe don't you worry about it.

And to be more forthright with you, my lovelies, every library worth its black salt needs funding

to run it properly. So I would like to personally invite you to help us reach some clandestine

goals, and to usher in season eight by joining our bubbling Patreon. And yes, I know it's

mentioned quite often, so there must be a reason. We don't permit advertisers to interrupt our

readings, so our Patreon is the key that keeps the doors of the Midnight Library open.
