Hey readers, welcome to the currently reading podcast. We are bookish best friends who spend time every week talking about the books that we've read recently. And as you know, we won't shy away from having

0:21.9

strong opinions. So get ready. We are light on the chit-chat, heavy on the book talk,

0:27.1

and our conversations will always be spoiler-free. Today we'll discuss our current reads,

0:31.7

a bookish deep dive, and then we'll visit The Fountain. I'm Meredith Monday Schwartz, a mom of four

0:36.9

and full-time CEO living in

0:38.7

Austin, Texas, and my love of words is a huge part of my love of reading. And I'm Katie Cobb,

0:44.8

a homeschooling mom of four living in Arizona, and I love it when I can drink books down like

0:49.3

shots. This is episode number 31 of season seven, and we are so glad you're here.

0:54.7

Oh, yes, that is very good, and I can't wait to find out exactly what part of shots.

0:59.9

1:04.3

Is it? So we'll get into that.

1:13.1

actually be an answer to a question that we got from a listener who said, tell me how you

prioritize reading books you already own. How do you prioritize reading your own shelves? So we're

1:23.7

going to get into that. But first, let's get into our bookish moment of the week.

1:28.9

1:34.6

reading life or even other times over the course of the podcast. But this week, I got sucked in

1:40.2

enough to two books that I blasted through two books on paper. And that doesn't seem that

1:47.1

exciting. Although most people know that I'm like 60% audio in my reading. I finished no audio books

1:53.4

this week and two books on paper. And that was huge for me. A, because I really love reading on paper.

1:59.6

And so to have it suck me in enough that I

2:02.3

couldn't put, that I was like walking around with my book is a big deal. And my reading has been
