Summary
Episode 17. Is Maureen dead?
Happy Jubilee weekend everyone - hope you’re all having a ‘Platinum’ time with your extra Bank Holidays - let's kick off celebrations with this weeks Platinum Podcast.
Linda is here with me once again - and we’re determined to keep the smut out of the show this week – so we all know what that means!
We take a prod and a poke through the paranormal papers this week – to get to grips with your stories and uncover what is the truth and what is a legitimate ghost story.
Your phone calls this week are ‘quite frankly’ bizarre - but Gavin from Glasgow calls me with a ‘furry’ scary story - well it goes on quite a bit – BUT it’s very good so I'd like more stories like Gavins please.
A highlight for me this week is when I go on a romantic date with Jackie – and we made a deep and lasting connection - and if you’re out there Jackie? I would really like to meet up again and I promise ‘no sauce’ this time.
And while I’m at it everyone - STOP BLAMING GHOSTS FOR THINGS THEY HAVEN’T DONE.
Jane Mcdonald if you’re reading this – please do listen in to my silky tones as I sing out the show this week – as I would LOVE to do a duet with you….
Fading now…

| 0:00.0 | Hello, and announcement before we start. |
| 0:23.0 | The producers and myself, Clinton Baptiste, would like to apologise to Emma's Carol |
| 0:28.1 | Braithwaite of 27, Bolton Lancashire, following comments made in last week's episode by |
| 0:35.0 | myself in regards to a ghost lady of a similar name, Carol Baker, whom I alleged my spirit |
| 0:43.7 | guide Tarouac was friends with. It's been pointed out to me since, recording that |
| 0:49.4 | Carol Braithwaite is in fact the name of a local woman I know from an even class I attended |
| 0:54.3 | last year at a local tech college. Carol Baker is the name of Tarouac's ghost friend. I simply |
| 1:01.4 | got the name confused. I said Braithwaite when I meant Baker. The similarity between Carol |
| 1:08.6 | Braithwaite, my college lecturer and this undead ghost woman, are solely that they share |
| 1:15.4 | a similar sounding name. Consequently, when I referred to Carol |
| 1:21.0 | Braithwaite as, and I quote an old brass and common as dog's mark, that was with reference |
| 1:28.8 | to the dead Carol Baker and not the very much alive Miss Carol Braithwaite, the lecturer |
| 1:35.1 | from the college. Furthermore, comments made by me that Carol Braithwaite was, and I quote, |
| 1:42.4 | a bit white flight, if you know what I mean, busty, bitchy, too faced, and all a bit |
| 1:50.2 | lambat and butler were unfortunate. They were in reference to the other ghost lady, Carol |
| 1:57.1 | Baker. After a conversation with Miss Braithwaite's |
| 2:01.0 | Lister, I'm more than happy to set the record straight. The Miss Braithwaite, who runs the |
| 2:06.0 | evening class, is very much alive, living in olden and is a successful, raky teacher |
| 2:11.6 | and not as I inferred, euphemistically, someone who had allowed a 400-year-old Greenland |
| 2:17.3 | the Inuit to, I quote, go downstairs during their brief courtship. On the contrary, Miss Braithwaite |
| 2:26.8 | is happily married, and as far as I know, Miss Braithwaite has never indulged in filatial |
| 2:33.5 | or contiling us with any apparitions or phantoms from the afterlife. Miss Braithwaite has |
