Baleska, Iowa became the scene of one of the bloodiest massacres in the history of the American Midwest.

The family of J.B. Moore, along with two overnight guests, were murdered in their sleep.

Despite a lengthy investigation and an exhaustive series of grand jury hearings and trials, the killer was never caught.
