Jody Hoosentruth spent the weekend before she disappeared with Tamara Baker.

Back then, Tamara more commonly went by Tammy Baker.

Along with Jody's coworkers at the TV station on Monday,

Tamara Baker would have been one of the last people to spend a significant amount of time

with Jody Hoosentrut before she disappeared before dawn on Tuesday.

And as far as we know,

Tamara Baker, the woman you're about to meet,

was the last person to spend the night with Jody Hoosentrude. She spent Saturday night sleeping in

the same room as Jody in Iowa City that weekend before the TV news anchor vanished. The two of them

spent their days of that weekend on a lake, on a boat.

That boat was owned by the man, who Mason City Police apparently still believed today could

have been responsible for the death of Jody Hoosentrude.

This story was never given to Mason City Police

because they never asked her for it. MCPD interviewed hundreds of people, they claimed,

in the week or so after Jody Housen-Truth disappeared from the parking lot of her apartment complex on her way to work.

But the woman who spent the night with Jody,

and two days of the weekend before with Jody and,

with the man police have believed, killed Jody Hoosentruth,

was never questioned by the Mason City Police Department, she says.
