Summary

More than 100 people lived in the apartment complex where TV news anchor Jodi Huisentruit disappeared in June 1995. I've been in the process of trying to locate as many of them as possible - now 25 years later - to ask them what they remember about the days and weeks leading up to her abduction.

You'll hear from two of those neighbors in this episode.

Over this summer, I've spent a good amount of research time, identifying people who lived in the key apartment complex, the place where Jody Hoosentrude disappeared on the early morning of June 27, 1995, finding out who lived there, finding out who they were, and then trying to find them, and one by

0:22.4

one, speak with them about what they may or may not have seen on that morning and in the days

0:29.0

and weeks leading up to that morning. That morning that Jody Hoos and Truth, the news anchor,

0:33.1

disappeared, subject of our season three case. And then expanding beyond that, did they interact

0:39.4

with Jody? Did anyone who came over once or often to their apartment interact with Jody?

and because of her own personality, because she was so outgoing and friendly.

0:59.3

She collected people, one might say.

And so it's difficult to say who was in Jody Housentruth's orbit and who was orbiting closer

1:06.9

to her center than others.

1:09.4

And it's a tall, tall task, but we can at least start with those who were

1:14.6

in her geographic orbit near the place where she lived. That's what I've been doing throughout the

1:20.0

summer and now into the fall. And the only people who have really had a chance to follow along are the

1:23.9

people who support us on Patreon. We have a handful of a couple of dozen people who are

1:27.6

very generous supporters. And for them, I've posted these updates throughout the last several months.

1:33.9

And they deserve to have this content. They certainly deserve to have it first. But I was having a

1:39.7

conversation with one of those Patreon supporters recently. this person said, I appreciate the content

1:46.8

that you're providing us, but I would much rather you have it out in the public.

1:52.5

Because why are we in this game in the first place?

1:55.8

You know, why are we here?

1:57.1

And all of this information, this person said to me, Scott, all this information that
