Season 2 of Clear and Vivid returns on November 13th.

I'm excited about this season.

I'm having fun with my guests, and I've had the chance to discover things about them

I didn't expect.

Their stories are powerful, and they've all faced challenges and overcome them with

empathy, listening, and good communication.

I talk with Mark Marin, one of the pioneers of podcasting, who has now recorded almost

900 episodes of his weekly series WTF.

This thing is saved my life.

It's reintegrated me with my ability to empathize and listen, and if I'm experiencing that

as the guy running the show, the people that are listening to it are experiencing that as

well.

From my conversation with Christian Petrolini, who was once full of hate as a neo-Nazi,

and today is dedicated to rescuing others from hate groups.

I can sit across the table from neo-Nazi, whether he's wearing khakis in a polo, or has

swastik attest to his on his face, and I can let all the ideological talk just fly by me.

It doesn't bother me.

And maybe that's because I used to say it.
