Welcome back to Season 2 of the Practicing Human Podcast, a daily podcast where every day we're getting a little better at life.

I am your host, Corey Mascara, and each day I will be sharing teachings on personal and spiritual growth.

to when you first wake up or before bed. It is designed to be an anchor point for you in your

day, a place to come to for grounding, clarity, to explore some of the deeper

questions of what it means to be human and how to navigate the messiness of life. We traverse

topics such as letting go, surrender, decision-making, stress reduction, presence, mindfulness, meditation, and how to live with an open heart

when there are so many things in our life causing us to want to shut down.

For the long-term listeners, we're back.

My last episode was two years ago.

After four years of running this podcast and over 600 episodes, I decided to take a break. There was a lot changing in my life. I had just gotten married. Things were shifting in my work. I was posting a lot on a lot of different platforms. And I wouldn't say I was burned out, but I wasn't feeling the same energy and enthusiasm that I previously did to create daily episodes.

And if there's anything I've learned in my work and in my life, it is to follow the energy.

More to come on that in tomorrow's episode.

But for now, I just wanted to let you know I'm back.

I'm very excited to start this again.

I feel like a very different person than when I first started this podcast in 2019.

I mean, my life was very different back then. And even from my last episode and when I was posting more regularly, which, you know, things really slowed down in

2023, so much in my life has changed.

I'm now married.

I have a one-year-old son.
