Sarah, I thought that we could start talking in the pearls today about this controversy with

John Lewis and Donald Trump. So I actually got to meet John Lewis when we were at the Democratic

National Convention. It felt like I was shaking hands with history. To state the obvious,

it is ignorant and insulting to accuse a man with literal scars from having his skull shattered

during civil rights protest, walking alongside Martin Luther King, to call him all talk in no action.

I feel like I think that this, John Lewis knew it he was doing. I don't think John Lewis gives

two shits what Donald Trump thinks about him. And I think Donald Trump is just using this as like

deflection, like total distraction as always from the fact that he's not divesting in his

companies appropriately. Like he has all these ethics violations. No one's coming to his inauguration.

Like all this stuff. That's what I think. I have nothing but respect for representative Lewis

and no fight with his statements or decisions to do whatever he wants to do. Right? This is an

American civil rights icon and a person who deserves a much better treatment than what he's received
