The Hello all you beautiful people and welcome to the Glorious and the

mundane podcast I'm your host Christy Nacles I changed up the music today and

celebration of the Beheld lullabies for the beloved instrumental album that I just released this past week.

It's out in all digital forms now and I hope you have been enjoying it.

I was thinking the other day as I was driving around listening to it,

which side note I don't normally ride around

and listen to my own records,

but I'm actually enjoying this one

because it's not me singing to myself.

But I love it as a backdrop backdrop and as I was driving around beautiful Tennessee,

I was thinking not to get too artsy on you, but the lyrics sometimes just need to be our surroundings and out where we live the

horses and the trees and the hills of Tennessee speak volumes and sometimes it's just

nice to have a music bed underneath all of it, a soundtrack, but you're letting the sights around you speak instead, even the people around you, even the little conversations from the back seat of the car.

Sometimes we just need to let those sing. My husband

Nathan worked so hard on this album and he did an amazing job keeping it true to

the original while also adding in new things and all the tracks which I've loved. We keep

calling this an invitation to rest. This world is chaotic and noisy and as we see

daily in the news full of absolute tragedy, we need a place to rest.

We don't want to be about shutting out the tragedy, but we want to be about having a response

to it.
