I'm your host, Christy Nockels. Happy spring to you officially, even though I think we're

under like a freeze warning or something tonight, but I hope all of you had a glorious Easter

and had or are having a beautiful spring break

for those of you who have school children.

It's a big deal.

If you follow me on Instagram,

you might have seen me post a pick of me in my chair

last week at the beginning of the week with my coffee, with my little dachson, George Banks

in my lap, readying myself for a staycation for our spring break. That was right

before I signed off from Instagram and that's been at least a week at this point if

not a week and a half and guess what I'm totally okay I

haven't scroll through any of your bright and shiny faces and seen what any of you

are up to and guess what I still love you and I care about you and I can just imagine all the things that you're doing without

needing to actually see them.

At least for a little while y'all I needed it.

Not because I don't love seeing what all of you are doing with your life but I just

needed to live a little bit of mine without having to compare and

mindlessly scroll and check in and wonder I decided that it's not about

self-protection it's actually more about preservation to preserve my own love for the life

that I'm living right here in the now for the staycation I certainly needed it the

present that's right here in front of me, these
