So let's begin this wonderful meditation

by making sure that you are nice and comfortable in a place where you can enjoy a restful sleep.

Place your hands in your lap or at your sides

and make sure that your hands aren't touching each other as this

will help you to relax more quickly.

Take a moment to make a fist with each hand.

Now, for a few moments, I'm wondering if you can firmly squeeze those fists. Feel your fingers pressing against the palm of your hands and notice all the tension that is created in your fingers, thumbs, wrists, wrists. wrists and forearms as you continue to squeeze them. Notice what it feels like when your muscles are tense and contracted.

Feel the tightness in those hands as they squeeze. And now notice how good it feels to just stop the tension and let all those

muscles in your hands, wrists, and forearms relax.

And be comfortable as you allow your eyes to close.
