Crime reporting is a pretty tough job.

It's really difficult.

And, you know, there's a lot to sort through.

The American legal system is complex.

And, you know, at the end of the day, there's a lot at stake when you're outlining

a crime story, the who, the what, trying to figure out all of that.

But what about outside the United States?

What about in a place like South Africa, where there's an incredibly high crime rate? The system

works a little bit differently, and I think a lot of us don't get a lot of exposure to that.

We're going to talk about that today on DV and off script with journalist, anchor journalist anchor and South African Robin Kernow.

She was front and center for years in Johannesburg for a couple of different news outlets.

She is a native South African and she has, you know, decades of experience in the field there as a reporter as an anchor.

Oscar, and particularly she covered the Oscar Pistorius trial, which you may remember he was

Robin, one of the things that I think in our universe, you know, our team, we obviously, we talk a lot about true crime.

And, but the other thing we talk about a lot is journalism and also as it relates to true crime.
