Welcome to another episode of Hawk Blogger Mornings.

I'm Brian Emhouser.

Excited to be with you here on this Thursday morning as we are marching toward a important milestone for the Seahawks.

They will start their, at least a media attended OTA practices next Tuesday.

So I'm looking forward to being in attendance next week and getting a chance to see

the whole crew on the field together and see how everyone's looking and who's standing out.

And one of the things that was cool. I think you probably have seen the clips by now, but if you

haven't, the Seahawks made a trip to Safeco.

Well, no, it's T-Mobile Park now.

Sorry, I almost said Safeco Field.

I still think it should be called Safeco Field.

But T-Mobile Park the other day while the Mariners are on the road.

And one of the things that I think is worth calling out about them making that trip is in my kind of final article summing up Mike McDonald's first season, I talked about a lot of the things he did really well.

I talked about some areas where he needed some to grow.

And one of them was in understanding how to kind of create a culture of where people look forward

to going to work and look forward to being part of what's going on there.

And there's a lot of ways to kind of manage that.

But, you know, it might not be something that he's naturally like I was never good at this as a leader, you know, it might not be something that he's naturally, like, I was never good at this

as a leader, you know, in terms of the fun stuff. I was very much about the work and had to have

people on my team that were good at finding out, you know, figuring out some fun ways to spend time.

And so I think it's really cool that, you know, instead of going and visiting a military base,
