For the first time in a very long time, the Seahawks are playing a truly meaningful game for what could be the number one overall seed in the NFC or at least a step toward it when they take on the Rams tonight on Thursday night football.

And there's only one guy that we want to talk to on the day of a game of that magnitude. It is Mike Sando, who joins us a day early for his weekly call. How are you doing, Mike? I'm doing well. It's the one we got to see.

And, you know, I admit I was a little bummed that this game ends up on a Thursday because I don't think you're going to get the best of both teams in that kind of situation.

I mean, it was a big game nationally because of Phillip Rivers, but it wasn't like I didn't get the feeling that they were all in with their game plan or something against Indie. I almost felt like kind of they've done a couple times this year,

1:45.8

like they're taking a couple games at a time here

1:49.2

and almost strategizing of how they're going to play.

1:51.4

I felt like I don't want to say saving themselves for this game,

1:54.6

but they could afford to have a little bit of an eye on this game.

1:58.3

Whereas I feel like the Rams, they're playing Detroit.

2:00.6

It's golf, Stafford.

2:01.8

Like that was kind of its own heavyweight fight that they had to be in and really had to go

2:07.1

all out to win it.

2:09.3

And of course, the Seahawks almost lost theirs.
