Summary

From Day 2 of the NFL Draft, we provide full coverage of the day's selections by the Seahawks. John Schneider and Mike Macdonald made a move up early in the draft to take safety Nick Emmanwori. The South Carolina standout was a player many had linked to the Seahawks with the 18th overall pick and there were rumblings about Seattle trying to trade back into the first round to get him. Instead they were able to move up and still get him early in round 2.

With their other second rounder, they selected tight end Elijah Arroyo, a player that Clinton had been critical of leading up to the draft. Phil Lydick joins the show to provide his thought and analysis of the picks. Max Toscano of Remember the Tight Ends comes in to talk about the Seahawks selection of Elijah Arroyo and Adam celebrates the selection of Jalen Milroe and what it could mean for the future of the quarterback room in Seattle.

Yeah, a little different vibe today, considering the fact that we're in a giant empty ballroom this time,

rather than with all the lovely 12s that we shared it with yesterday, Clinton.

0:32.5

But it doesn't take away from the excitement of day two where we have how much of a percentage of the

0:40.0

picks in day two? So the math may or may not be right. And yes, I've been day drinking a little

0:45.1

bit, seeing somebody's in Seattle because, hey, it's my vacation too. Don't hassle me. I'm local.

0:49.8

But look, 32 picks were taken so far, right? In 60 picks, that takes us to 92 following so far.

0:57.6

Wait, that's not right.

0:58.7

That's what you were saying.

0:59.6

I was trying to tell you.

1:00.5

Yeah, either way, we have about 7% of the next 60 picks.

1:05.6

Four picks coming up in the next 60.

1:08.6

Fired up for that, boys.

1:10.0

What you're trying to say is basically we have four picks. Four picks in the next 60 fired up for that boys what you're trying to say is basically we have

1:12.7

four picks four picks in the next 60 it's going to be radical that's right it's day two day two

1:17.8

we'll be picking four times unless unless we don't trade up or then trade out and then we won't

1:24.6

pick uh you know four times on day two as well so there's lots of ways it can go yet but there's one thing that we won't pick, uh, you know, four times on day two as well. So there's lots

1:28.3

of ways that can go yet. But there's one thing that we can't say for certain. John Schneider
