but we wanted to come on a little bit early and join Mr. Phil Lideck along with Clinton Bonner and Adam Emmert and do a little recap of yesterday and talk about some of the themes we're hearing. Let's start with Phil. How are you doing, buddy?

I'm doing fantastic. I haven't been on in a while, so I guess it's good for me to exercise

and make sure that I still know how to talk into this microphone to you guys.

Absolutely. Use it to lose it, Phil, but we're glad you're here. So day one happens. We take

price at the end of the first. How are you guys feeling? What did the fam think? What was the reaction?

For my family, we were happy about it. We had a couple things that we would have preferred,

but Price was certainly one of the things would have been happy with. Looking after the pick,

I think we're pretty satisfied knowing that we have more confidence that we have some

explosion in the running game,

which is really what we lost with K9. So I kind of wanted the trade down to get another

pick, but I don't know that it matters a ton to have a like another fourth and a fifth.

Probably it would have been kind of cool to get some other guys in. But getting that fifth year,

if it turns out that price is as good as he could be,

having him locked in with a fifth year option, imagine if we had that with canine.

We could have just said, hey, you're here for another year.

That would have freed this up and we wouldn't have had this concern and could have pointed the franchise in another direction.

So getting that fifth year option, probably just about worth the same as getting another pick and dropping down and getting him where I would have been comfortable.
