Good morning, everybody.

Welcome to another episode of Hockblogger Mornings.

I'm Brian Mouser, and it is schedule release day in the NFL.

This used to be a little blip on the calendar.

It would just happen.

It has now become the latest in the NFL's pretty successful attempts to keep them at the forefront of news around the calendar year.

And I will say this.

Last year at this time, I basically had the whole Seahawks schedule assembled.

I had from a bunch of different sources, been able to deduce what was missing and basically gotten everything right, I think, except maybe one one game was flipped, but pretty much had the whole schedule correct by this time last year.

It is a lot tighter-lipped this year,

so I cannot claim to have the whole schedule like I did last year.

But you know what?

That's kind of fun too, because tonight, 5 o'clock p.m. Pacific time, the NFL

will release the schedules. And guess what? Evan Hill, Jeff Simmons, and I will be on there to react

live, almost like the draft, you know? Like, you will get to see our live reactions as we find out

about these different games throughout the

Seahawks season has a huge impact on how the season is going to unfold. You will find out

where the by week is. We will find out when they play their divisional rivals,

when they have bunches of road trips or East Coast trips,

how many 10 a.m. games, how many primetime games?

All of that is yet to be known.

And so we'll find that out tonight.
