That's who we are, if you can believe it. What's been going on with us this week?

Uh guys I have been really I've been really diving into the thrilling world of

Los Angeles City Council meetings and you are doing the work that we all should be doing and I appreciate that.

It's, I don't know that I'm actually doing anything.

I'm just trying to learn how it all works and stay aware of what's happening. I think for me for me what's

made things feel manageable is focusing on one like choosing a focus area and so I'm pretty focused on defunding LAPD and

LASD. A very good one to focus on. Because their budget is due in July 1st, so it's a time sensitive issue. But man, oh man, they really try to bore you out of paying attention.

They make it as boring as possible.

Then there's usually a public comment section

where people call in and give their opinions which have come to be very

entertaining. People love to yell at our elected officials for not doing their jobs and a good signature

line that has become a real through line for a lot of the public comments is

ending it by saying I yield my time fuck you.

Yeah I really I really enjoyed that I yield my time

fuck you.

Oh it's fun.

Yeah it's good it's really the first time I listened to a meeting and got to hear all of that, boy, did it really help me release a lot of, well, drain me, at first it invigorated me and then it drain me.
