Pretty much how I open every show, huh? Well, today is Beast Day, and I urge you to check that out.

We are not going to dig into it today. That brooogler's unbelievable draft guide that he puts

out for the athletic um but i will start really digging into it tonight and i'm sure i'll have

nuggets up through the draft and after the draft that i pull out of there for you but i mentioned it

yesterday that i wanted to do my steelers top 21. I think you guys know

how this works, but they've had the 21st pick in the first draft. That's why it's 21. They had the

17th pick in the draft. That would be 17. And here's the short of it. This is entirely through a

Steelers lens that if they had the first pick in the

draft, who would you take? Pull back curtain, I would take Fernando Mendoza. If the Steelers right now

had pick 1-1, I would take Fernando Mendoza. Okay. Well, let's say the second pick and Mendoza's gone.

Who would be your choice?

Let's say you're the 10th pick and your nine favorite players for the Steelers are gone.

Who would you take?

I don't 100% know if every team does this exercise, but I absolutely think they should.

And to be honest,

there's, you know, guys like the edge rushers, not well represented here, because that doesn't do the Steelers a lot of good. Yeah, you could take one, you could take David Bailey, and then

trade Highsmith or Herbig or Watt or whatever.

And I didn't take it that far.

But there are some players at non-kneed positions that you just have to take because they're too good.

So that's the balancing act.

That's why I think teams should do this.
