Hello everyone, Matt Williamson here back in Pittsburgh from lovely Arizona.

It's a good trip.

Took a lot out of me, but ready to dig back into my normal routine.

A little over 20 days until Pittsburgh hosts the NFL draft.

How cool is that?

I thought it was a good time for a Matt's mailbag.

Been a while.

I'm not going to apologize for that because we've had a lot of good things to talk about in the meantime.

So, Lambertville, love it.

Where would you say Will Howard would fall between the other

quarterback candidates in this draft class?

That's a good way looking at it, and I hadn't thought of that angle.

But I mentioned this yesterday, and I've been mentioning it more and more.

I kind of hate this draft class for quarterbacks.

So part of this might make Howard look better than maybe he is.

And I'm also going to kind of use what we know about Howard,

which isn't a ton after a year in the NFL.

But usually when I do these exercises,

I want to compare him to the prospect,

which I guess isn't that much different. but I do think there's some value in the extreme praise that is coming out of the South Sides in Will Howard's fashion.

Now, of course, he's not Mendoza. I don't think he's Nussmeyer or Simpson. I told you yesterday, those are kind of my tears right now.
