Hello, I'm Matt Williamson. What's going on?

I'm recording this Labor Day, just kind of chilling here about the Moulon, maybe grill, typical Labor Day stuff, but nothing crazy.

More than anything, though, I am gearing up for the season, to be honest with you.

I've done a lot of work today.

I was very, very happy to see Warren get a two-year extension this morning. And I'm going to take a second.

I've called for this for like six months, five months, four months, whatever, whenever we started talking

about guys that are going to become free agents after next year. And I didn't see anyone else talking

about it. Maybe they have and I just missed it. But I love that we kind of had the same vision

on this. Trust me, they didn't consult me, obviously. But here's the beauty of it. I mean,

for his experience level, he doesn't have that much wear and tear off of his tires.

It's pretty clear, as I've been telling you guys, through their usage, he's obviously their number one running back at this point.

I have not seen the money, but it's a two-year extension. I don't think that's going to be crazy at all.

I'm sure it'll be a nice bump for him.

And that's where I'm going with this.

This, I don't say poor guy because he's not poor and he's less poor now, actually.

Undrafted Free Agent hasn't made squat in this league.

And five million a year goes a lot further to Warren than

it does the Cam Hayward or Aaron Rogers. You know what I mean? Like he hasn't made

in the bank, comparatively speaking, you know? So this seems like a bargain move all along. And I don't

think it's an indication that they think Johnson stinks or anything like that. I think you want this guy around

for two more years. And maybe Johnson or someone else goes past him and is the big guy and he goes

back to be in the third downback. But for now, he's your best back and it's pretty clear. And
