Happy Labor Day weekend to all.

I am recording this pretty late in the day Sunday.

Probably get you something on Memorial Day as well, but want to make sure you get something

for your ear holes while you're mowing the lawn or grilling or whatever you're doing on Monday. I hope you're having a good

time. A little early to start breaking down the jets. I'll also do a mailbag between now and then,

but this is something I can't harp on enough. And a little bit of it's repetitive from months ago

and really since the season ended about

the Steelers philosophical defensive choices make up from last year.

I mean, I think you guys know that I find it imperative to generate more sacks.

With this good of pass rush, the highest paid defense by a wide margin in the league,

I have told you I think it could be the best E in the league.

I think they have the best pass rushers in the league.

Now Houston and Green Bay with Micah Parsons all of a sudden are in that

conversation as well. There's no question. But some things just really needs to change. I mean,

the predictability schematically of this defense, and if you've listened to me, I've made excuses slash realizations of why they were so

static and similar in terms of play calls snap after snap.

And some of it, they didn't trust their other corners to play more man.

Porter was the only guy that they really felt they had that capability with.

They didn't feel like they had to blitz to get home.

But they were the single high, they were the number one team defense in the use of a single high safety, of a middle of the field safety.
