Can't complain here.

Last night, I'm recording this Thursday, so it's Wednesday night.

I finalized my top five quarterback ranks for the draft and wrote like a paragraph, or several

paragraphs, for Steelers.com on just the class as a whole. And I think that'd be a good conversation

for us. I mean, like, we all know Mendoza's one, and we know Mendoza's not going to go to the

Steelers, but I will give you my thumbnail on him

and others. I am interested from you guys, because I have mixed feelings, is, I'll just get this

out of the way. They're not going to get Mendoza. There's no one I would take at 21.

And frankly, I don't think there's anyone that'll be there that I would take in the second round.

The first two picks to me need to be O-line and wide receiver in some order.

So then it becomes should the Steelers draft another developmental quarterback?

And as you'll see and I'll get into the names if you don't know them already,

there are a couple I like,

and you could always hit lightning in a bottle.

And I think you guys know me well enough that I mostly subscribe to the theory that you should draft a quarterback every year, even if you have

Mahomes, you know, that Rogers and Farah, they drafted on almost every year in Green

Bay and ended up with guys like Aaron Brooks and Brunel and Hasselbeck. I mean,

end up with really good late-round quarterbacks,

but you got to take a lot of bites in the apple to get there,
