well hello everyone nine out of ten these podcasts focus on the steelers this is one of the

others because i think we have to talk about this miles garret trade which does directly

influence the steelers, of course.

So, unless you've been living under a rock, Miles Garrett is now a Los Angeles Ram, and this is the trade agreement.

Rams receive Miles Garrett. Browns receive Jared Verse, a great player, by the way, who's much younger and much cheaper, a 2027 first, which very well could be the 30-second pick in the draft, a 2028 second

second and a 2029 third.

I'm going to start with the Rams, but I'm going to focus mostly on the Browns here.

So we know the Rams are a very aggressive organization, and I thought they were the best team in the league before this trade.

And Vegas agreed with me in terms of

Super Bowl odds, things of that nature. Now, a lot of people were critical of the Rams for using

a premium pick on Ty Simpson. And I was originally, but then I thought through it and said,

on many different outlets,

I'm sure we didn't have this conversation here, that I thought they were the most likely team between the draft and the trade deadline to trade their first round pick next year.

Secondly, I thought they might be not A.J. Brown, but like in that type of mold, Max Crosby,

something like that. Go get some stud to put them over the top,

but I thought maybe they'd be the Max Crosby team.

And we know that next year's firsts are super, super coveted.
