Pirates begin a six-game road trip tonight in Houston.

That's an 8.10 p.m. Eastern Time first pitch.

Burroughs will be on the mound for the Astros.

Bubba Chandler for the Pirates.

Burroughs has a 3 and 6 record for the Astros. That doesn't matter.

A 5.4 ERA, that matters. A 1.45 whip also matters. All 11 of his appearances have been starts.

His most recent start in Arlington, Texas was one of his best.

The seven innings, two runs, five hits.

But for the most part, it hasn't gone well.

And relative to what the Astros did to get him in the off-season trade that involved both the Pirates and

the Rays, he would have needed to do extremely well to make it worthwhile.
