Hello, everyone. I'm Matt Williamson. How's it going? At Williamson, NFL. Hope yours, as I am. I am in my hotel room. I hope it sounds good. Probably sounds a little different than my basement. But yesterday was a big travel day for me, so it was a little tough to chat with you

guys. But I wanted to really spend time today talking about what Omar Khan had to say today.

So he did, I was exposed to three different sit-downs or three different sessions. He did a local session, but just like all the local media at the hotel.

And then he went to the podium and did a national session.

And then he came over to Radio Row and sat right next to me, and we had a 15-minute conversation

there as well.

So I kind of wanted to brush through every position on the team, anything that came to mind.

But a couple things that stood out were I had asked him about the scouting staff.

Everyone knows it's a new coaching staff.

But he was glowing with his coaching staff, or scouting staff praise.

They really didn't make any changes there.

So they're running back basically the same front office, which I'm happy about,

same grading system, all that stuff.

And of course, he recognized that this coaching staff might have different desires. You know,

their version of a nose tackle or a, you know, third tight end or whatever, might be

different than the last. Of course, that's true. But he also really went out of his way to say,

man, this coaching staff has hit the ground running in a big way and really praised McCarthy's knowledge of the roster

before he even accepted the job, you know, that he was really well dug into what the Steelers had,

what they were returning, that these coaches have been really grinding out tape on both, especially on the existing

Steelers, you know, what they have, what they need, you know, really been a community of effort,

which I think is good, you know. Now, I think it goes without saying that in these, these situations,

Omar or any GM or any league, you know, someone high on a team's pecking
